Stan football club on the 13th of December played a friendly match with butcher fc where neither of the team scored a goal-The zeal to have a goal was so high in both the team as strikers scattered dust into the air to make a score but all in vain.
Stan fc currently have four sets of uniforms ( jerseys), five brand new footballs, two used one, and many that is spoiled already. The club also have one digital camera inspite of it broken monitor. All these have been the contributions of one of the best Doctors in Canada, Dr. Stan Kutcher.
Dr. Stan Kutcher started suporting the club right from the time of it initiation (2006) and upto date he is still giving support in many diferent ways. The club members and the community where the club is,,, are infinitly grateful for his support.
Stan fc have recieved another donation from youth coalition for pecae (ycfp). On 27 july 2009 Ycfp have offered 12 Pinnies to the club, this will help the club in its preparation for the mini league commencing in earlier august this year.
The delegation from the youth office encourages players to concentrate in practice so that they can perform well in the up coming tournament. check for the photos also
Stan foot ball club-young player were honored by youth coalition for peace (YCFP), a community based organization working (CBO) in northern Ugand to participate in a five days children soccer camp for peace. Players are learning lots of new skills and rules for fair play that can foster harmony and sustainable youth participation in sport for development. The camp is being facilitated by proffessional coaches from Canada i.e Andrew Pike and Gavin Hollet.
Stan fc was establlished in july 2006, with a core membership of 10 players, The club was name after Dr. Stan Kutcher from Dal Housie Universiety in Canada after he has conducted a two weeks counseling workshop attended by 20 youth from Gulu Municipality, this 20 youth later form themselves into Youth Coalition for Peace (YCFP) and expanded into Five other sub-counties.
Stan football club (stan fc) is operational in Gulu, Uganda, East Africa- Its a local club with a remarkable reputations.
